RED RIBBON WEEK OCT 23-31

Melanie Jerez, HHS School-Based Social Worker, is planning a Red Ribbon Week mini fair on October 31, during A and B lunch.  She has 4 community agencies that will be participating at this event for our students.  We will be encouraging the students to live a drug-free life and to sign the pledge.

She is looking for a few parents to help at the table by decorating it, bring candy, share Red Ribbon Week promotional items, and most importantly with getting our students to sign the pledge.  The event area can be decorated with this year's Red Ribbon Week's theme "Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free". There are many resources at redribbon.org and informedfamilies.org.

Also, the school is getting a Red Ribbon Week School Certification from Informed Families on that day for our involvement in the four campaigns that Informed Families promote during the school year.

if you are interested in helping purchase give-aways for students please let us know. PROMOTIONAL ITEMS:
