RED RIBBON WEEK OCT 23-31
She is looking for a few parents to help at the table by decorating it, bring candy, share Red Ribbon Week promotional items, and most importantly with getting our students to sign the pledge. The event area can be decorated with this year's Red Ribbon Week's theme "Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free". There are many resources at redribbon.org and informedfamilies.org.
Also, the school is getting a Red Ribbon Week School Certification from Informed Families on that day for our involvement in the four campaigns that Informed Families promote during the school year.
If you are interested in helping purchase give-aways for students please let us know.
NEW COMMITTEES BEING PLANNED
Red Ribbon this month • Teacher appreciation in May • and a 5K in February to raise money for community outreach.

PSA for Horizon Communities:
Look under HISTORY in your SchoolPay account to see your past purchases!
SchoolPay users should log into SchoolPay when making payments. This will ensure you can keep track of all school payments. This is important because when you use your account to make payments on different school accounts, you can easily search at a later date what transactions you've had between a specific time.
Next time you wonder if you bought that yearbook, sports payment, or other fundraiser do a quick search in history. If you logged in to buy, you will have a receipt!
