The Horizon Parent, Teacher, Student Organization (PTSO) is excited to welcome our Hawk Students this year. We hope you've enjoyed your summer and are eager to start the 2024-25 school year!
The Horizon High PTSO’s mission is to invest in the growth and development of our school’s community. Everyone can be a part of the PTSO! With your effort we can work together to enhance educational resources, create enriching experiences, and foster a nurturing environment for our students. Every penny we earn or raise, through sponsorship, membership and donations, is donated directly back to the school to help support campus activities and purchase items requested by students and teachers. 2024 -25 - Member Drive
We have officially launched the 2024-25 Membership Drive. We need your help to provide enriching experiences, and purchase materials to support educational and fun opportunities for students, teachers, and staff. Hawk Spirit Store 24-25!
We are starting off the year showcasing our Hawk Elements class shirts. We believe all of our Hawks are irreplaceable “elements” at Horizon, and each grade has their own element design to soar! On our Spirit Store Website, We have new areas to check out! We are highlighting an exclusive senior page to host all of our Class of 2025 items. https://horizonhighptso.square.site/class-of-2025 Grandparents, teachers & friends of seniors… we have a shirt for you this year too!
And, we are adding a Vendor Section to our website. These OCPS approved vendors have amazing OCPS Hawk gear. They have partnered with us and will donate part of the proceeds back to the PTSO. When you order through us, from them, you will be supporting the school with every purchase you make.

We look forward to meeting you! You can shop and receive more information from the PTSO at the 9th and 10th grade Laptop Pick up day, Hawk Walk /Senior Swoop, Senior Parking Spot painting, the Hawks first home football game, and we invite you to join us at our PTSO meetings; they are held once a month following the HHS SAC meetings in the HHS Media Center. Meetings are open to PTSO members and nonmembers. Anyone interested in learning more about what we accomplish, or what we have on the horizon are welcome to join us. Join the Horizon PTSO at our first fundraising event for 2024-25. 15% of proceeds will be donated back to the school. We will have a SPIRIT STORE PACKAGE PICK-UP during this event. You can order in-stock items online by Sunday, August 18th and we will make sure your order is ready for you to pick up.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Spirit Wear 24-25 Volunteers. If you like to be involved, and at the sports events this is the perfect opportunity to be involved! Spirit Store volunteer group needs to grow! Next year we will need an organized parent to help lead all of spirit wear. Join the spirit wear team today to learn all about our system and see if this might a good fit with you.
